Nearly native Californian, will be visiting Las Vegas to catch MK's 7/21 show at The Joint (couldn't get tickets at closest California venues). Looking forward to joining some loyal Nevada fans for a great evening.

One of the finest concerts I've ever been to! Haven't seen Mark live since the "On Every Street" tour 13 years ago and I realized what I've missed over the years. Romeo & Juliet was fantastic - on par with the Alchemy version. Sultans was smoking.. every bit as good as the "A Night in London" version. Speedway at Nazareth was brilliant as was Telegraph Road. Couldn't ask for anything more except for the hope that he would have played "Sands of Nevada" in honor of the Vegas venue for one of the encores. If you haven't seen Mark on this tour, you've really missed out something spectacular - if you have, you know exactly what I'm talking about! (As an aside, I have to apologize to fellow serious Knopfler fan (Mike) who sat directly in front of me at this concert - sorry I bailed before talking to you more. I definately had the "bug" (sorry for the pun) and had to leave quickly - THANK you again for the drink pal and keep in touch!)

Wow. What a great show. I'm not going to try to recall his entire set list but he played a nice mix from his solo albums and was a bit heavier on his Dire Straits material. Here are some of the songs...... Why Eye Man, Sailing to Philadelphia, Romeo an Juliet was a huge favorite and was followed by the scorching Sultans of Swing (seeing that performed live was a highlight in my 20+ year concert going experiences). My personal favorite was Telegraph Road. His encore included Brothers in Arms, Money for Nothing and So Far Away. I'm so glad that I had the opportunity to see one of the modern era's greatest guitarists in such an intimate venue. Go see him if you get the chance.
